We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee field work. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of jobs and the quality of finished work. This position entails a broad variety of responsibilities such as; ensuring customers are well informed and delighted, jobs are done efficiently, quality standards are upheld, employees are trained and managed…to name a few.
Our ideal candidate for this position would have vast knowledge of the commercial and residential painting industry, has extraordinary management experience and skills, can read job cost reports with understanding, works well with people and is self-motivated. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day.

Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
Estimate costs and prepare budgets
Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Monitor production to resolve issues
Supervise and evaluate performance of painting and carpenter personnel
Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
Approve maintenance work, purchasing of tools & equipment etc.
Ensure finalized jobs meet quality standards
Enforce health and safety precautions
Proven 10+ years experience as production manager
Deep knowledge of painting/contracting industry
Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
Experience in reporting timelines
Proficient in MS Office and other drafting software
Outstanding communication ability
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
Attention to detail
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
